Recently, American Bible Society reported there are +10 Million new Bible readers. But, constant interruption is eroding our capacity to read, study, and pray deeply. We are tempted to outsource the effort rather than put ourselves in a place to encounter the Living Lord and wrestle with the Bible’s personal invitations.

Polarized Yet Lonely

Jonathan Haidt has famously reported that Americans spend 7+ hours a day on screens. The U.S.Surgeon General found 1 in 2 adults are lonely, with health risks comparable to heavy smoking. In a culture of sharp rhetoric and growing isolation, many suffer from loneliness and a drought of purpose.
