When a group sets aside distraction and moves through Scripture together in sustained sequence, something shifts. The unity, beauty, and authority of the text become visible in a way a single study rarely allows — attentiveness sharpens, fellowship deepens, and love for the Word is strengthened.
A Making Space Retreat gives that shift room to happen. Over a day or two away, a group of peers works through three or four facilitated, conversational sessions in a section of Scripture using the discovery-based process of Manuscript Bible Study. Study sessions are interwoven with personal sharing, prayer, shared meals, and laughter.
It’s spiritually refreshing, intellectually engaging, and, by design, socially satisfying — a rhythm built to help a group hear God afresh and leave with friendships that outlast the retreat.
Back to back sessions reveal a book's coherence, a unity that's easy to miss one passage at a time.
Dedicated time and space to slow down makes room to hear God afresh, and for repentance, renewal, and refreshment.
Thoughtful discussion, laughter, and meals together forge friendships that outlast the retreat itself.
